As a dictator Joan was THE BOSS. And I always felt there was much to admire about her sense of duty and commitment to getting the job done. But she was also psycho, and of course being a dictator (and a psycho) isn't what makes a good governor. Nice distinction in your video between likeability and charisma. I loved her too as a character. I haven't seen the Vera one yet but I'm guessing she will take 1st place.

Hi Michelle, Joan Ferguson was an absolute Head Case as governor, she installed fear in most of the women, apart from two, Bea and Franky, they stood up to her, she also as governor, set the fire to hide the fact that she murdered an inmate!! 😀 😀

I would love ❤️ and I mean love Wentworth to come back but even if it dosent they should definitely do a series or a spin off show of wentworth back in the day like young boomer and how she coped in prison when she arrived and seeing young Liz and maybe a young Lou and other characters that we don’t know about in the 9 seasons of wentworth what she was like I’m sure they could defiantly find young Australian actors to play these young icons it would be good what do you think ??

One thing I do hate though, and no Michelle I’m not talking about your content, more so with the directors of wentworth. Is they portray sociopaths/ psychopaths as real bad people, and that’s just not true. Sure some of them are extremely violent and dangerous, but I have aspd (psychopathic traits, and narcissistic traits also) and I choose not to be a shitty person. However I don’t feel guilt or empathy, maybe on a cognitive level, but I’ve never experienced it as a emotion or pain ( no fault of my own) but that doesn’t mean I would purposely hurt someone. I feel love and show it in my own way, I’d someone has my back, they have my complete loyalty. A partner does something for me, I’ll show them something kind in return. I do mirror people a lot. But we’re not all bad.

She was the worst governor in my opinion. she was the most corrupt one without doubt not only even as governor but in all wentworth! Her state even can't fit to be governor! She tortured Jodie when she was governor! And i think she had an affair with Doreen yes this never happened but she had Romantic feeling to a prisoner. I can't stand erica at all lol but compared to joan in my opinion she cared about the women more!
