Emirates has a peculiar gift for making almost everything they design look cheap, tawdry and tacky, despite throwing billions at what they class as tasteful. Virgin Atlantic share that peculiar talent.

Recently flew Emirates Dubai to Narita - yes the chauffeur drive was good - the walk to the departure gate - git steps up - lounge food ok and on the plane seat 23A - more style over substance - long board lounge was ok - but food 😢 - service OK -

Great video, the lounges are so impressive compared to anything here in Canada. I must say tho I do not like the design of the business class on the aircraft featured here. I feel that the designs where the seat is closer to the window and a table or side parting passenger from the alleyway would definitely offer more privacy. This design of space is quite the opposite, not private at all..

Sorry but this appears to be the "old" Emirates business class on the A380, judging from the interior wood panel design and seats. I am fairly sure.

At 18.5 inches wide, the seat is too narrow -- it barely meets the standard width expected of business class seats, which range from 18 to 30 inches wide. Stout passengers might feel being cramped. I had never flown Emirates' business class, but, based on what I saw in this video and what I know about business class seats in general, it doesn't look like Emirates has the most comfortable business class seats.

However, as shown in this video, in-flight dining at Emirates is amazing. The airline has the best Business Class in-flight dining experience in the world. There aircraft also has a lounge and bar where business and first class passengers can relax and socialize. That, more or less, makes up for the potential discomfort caused by the narrow seats. (Again, "narrow" when compared to what is generally expected of business class seats.)

Furthermore more, Emirates also tops the list when it comes to in-flight entertainment.

Should people fly Emirates' Business Class? That depends on what their priorities are. If they prioritize comfort of the seat. Emirates may not be the perfect choice, because the airline's business class seats are very narrow - it just met the minimum width expected of business class seats. The narrow width means potential discomfort for some passenger. However, for passengers who want amazing in-flight dining experience and industry-leading in-flight entertainment, Emirates' Business Class May just be their perfect peak.

Exorbitant ticket prices, stuck-up checkin staff, pompous cabin crew with their fake smiles that get wiped away when you ask for a little more food when you're hungry, shabby seats unchanged since the A380 was launched even in Business Class, frequently broken seats electrics, shabby toilets. GOODBYE SINGAPORE AIRLINES, FOREVER. I've been welcomed by Emirates and treated like a valued customer in recent flights.
