There will be no problems in Xinjiang, if there are no Muslim extremists and Separatists Uyghurs.

Uyghurs are not the Native of Xinjiang, they are children of the Silk Road from the Middle East and North West of Mongolia.

They mixed with the natives, Chinese, Mongolian, Kazakh, Tajik and others.

Xinjiang has been with China since Tang Dynasty over 2, 000 years ago. Not 1949 as they have always claimed. The Uyghurs can not erase history and make up to suit their Separatists goal.

East Turkestan is the name that was given by the Soviet Unions.
Because, Soviet Unions had problem with China at that time, and tried to use the Uyghurs for political reasons. And there were a lot of Uyghurs had joined the Soviet’s and fought against China, without realizing that they had been used by the Soviet Unions.

After the Conflict had been settled between China and Soviet Unions, the Soviet Unions had no use of Uyghurs and stopped supporting them.

So, the Uyghurs always think that East Turkestan really a real country and belongs to them, without realizing that the Soviet Unions, at that time, had made it up.
