Canon FD 85mm f1.2 review on Hasselblad X2D and X1D mark ii

In this review I look at an older Canon FD lens from the 1980s, the Canon FD 85mm f1.2. This is actually one of Canons professional lenses of the day, but before they labeled their professional lenses with an "L".

How does this seemingly old construction compare with the newer 85mm lenses, that I have reviewed recently, the Canon EF 85mm f1.2 and the Canon EF 85mm f1.8 ?

I love your yt vids .I have bought a X2D and love it .I followed you and got a 45P and a 90mm 2.9 lens .As they are very expensive native lenses I am now trying vintage.I Have got a few FD lenses but not the 85.How does this compare withe the native 90-Which I this is remarkable.Again many thanks for all your y tubes from an 80+ pensioner.

Thank you so much for your reviews, I like it. It's great to see that the FD Lenses are also perfect for the Hasselblad X Cameras. I ordert the Novoflex Adapter and hope it's coming soon. 🤗🤗

good stuff : ). I use manual lenses with my Hasselblad 907X system. I use a fotodiox adapter, and I have to use electronic shutter in order to use an EF manual lens with this body. I notice that I get some horizontal lines in some areas under other light sources that are not natural day light. Have you done some testing indoors with artificial lighting conditions
