In Sweden we don't have a list of approved names but names still need to be approved by the tax agency and it's a lot of fun to read the list of names that have been rejected. My personal favorites are Pistolen (the gun), Snus (a Swedish tobacco product) and Traktor Destruktor (Tractor Destructor)

Because the Icelandic language uses declension for nouns, all names need to have declined forms. It isn't like most languages where the name stays the same regardless of the grammar.

on the one hand I hate that we have that here then they release the list of rejected names and I change my mind. not too long ago someone tried Adolf and Hitler I kind of assume it was the same person but they where listed separately.
