When I first got back into collecting in early 2018 I used to buy these baseball boxes and some were pretty ok. I actually got a Tatis Jr. 1st Bowman paper, a bunch of 2013 Trout cup cards, a 1993 Bowman Pettitte RC, and there always seemed to be a bunch of 2016 Topps RCs (Corey Seager, Trea Turner, Conforto, Schwarber, Nola, etc.). I've seen videos of people getting Bryce Harper RCs, but I think the stories of Trout RCs was just urban legend. I stopped buying these about a year ago because they'd gotten to the point where you can't get anything decent anymore. Might as well take the $5 and buy a raw 89 Griffey RC on Ebay because that will be way better than everything combined you get in one of these boxes.

I pulled a Cal Ripken jr 91 Donruss error card that has comps at $650-750, they accidentally slipped a dinger in there.. it actually had hos donruss 91 base card and the all star variant..unfortunatley the base wasnt the error version or it woulda been even more than the all star.. couldnt believe when i saw it had the error and how much theyre going for.. its nice to win one

A few years ago I was chasing the Trout rookie, no rc but got three gold cup cards. Now they're more horrible then ever. Brian Jordon also played baseball and football.

They were good before 2020. It’s always been junk wax with a couple modern peppered in but they stopped putting in modern rookies all together now. At least the one’s I’ve opened

I remember opening a basketball one and getting an Anthony Davis 2013 Prizm RWB card. Also got some Jordan’s and stars from the 90’s. whenever I opened them a few years back they used to be actually decent

I've never hit anything huge from those, but I've found some cool cards that were at one time pretty big cards like Bobby Bonilla 86 traded, and all kinds of Gregg Jefferies rookies. Got a couple autos, best being a first bowman /150 of some guy who never made it to the majors. But if you can get them for around $5 it's worth it once in a while just for the nostalgia.
