One big tip for fighting Zarya as Rein is using charge to bait out a bubble, if you pin a zarya and she has the bubble just cancel the charge.

In my experience, bastion is good against zarya to break the bubbles. Big charge doesn't matter if she's dead. It's pretty hard to get into a position as bastion where you can shoot zarya safely tho

Counterpoint. If you pop the bubbles, she's basically just a squishy, and the high damage projectile characters are usually out of her range.

I feel like winton is also a good match up against zarya. His primary shoots through her bubble. And he bubble if he’s stuck in grav.

Generally speaking if I’m playing Zarya and someone goes Rein we end up winning because Rein has to be totally open in order to damage me where as I can use bubble (of which I have 2) while helping my dps quickly melt the Rein in front of me. Usually when there’s a zarya i tend to go Winston and communicate with my team on Diving to remove her back line. The removing of her supports while giving her minimal charge makes her no more than a fly of a threat but does require strong communication to make sure everyone’s on the same page.
