Hey, great video and overview! My piece of unsolicited advice:

In the future, if you need video directly from your desktop or a program on your computer, I'd hightly recommend OBS (open broadcasting software). It's free and quite easy to use, and looks a touch neater than a camera pointed at a screen. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course ;)

Nonetheless, great stuff!

Great review. I'm assuming you can zoom in and read license plates. Does it have a feature like the Tesla sentry mode where it works while you are shopping?

Seems like a major flaw in cameras that are NOT connected to the cloud is the fact that, in the event of a major accident, there is a good chance that you won't have the presence of mind (assuming you are even conscious) to remove the sd card before someone steals it.

Looks sweet. Only thing is how could you see the sides of the truck? So like if someone breaks in or breaks your window..

Thing that sucks had 2 different cheaper brand cams in 2 different trucks and was hit in both not my fault with in 1 1/2 years and both cams failed. And also had Vantrue N2 and it has heating and memory card issues. So thinking on trying this X1000 . Hows build Quality any issues ?
