24 hrs as a Doctor with a Baby | Grey's Anatomy Review

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our channel. I've been gone for two weeks. Things have been getting really busy with residency so thank you all for being patient with me. Hope you all missed Wyatt cause there is plenty of him in this video.

Any particular questions you guys had about these medical shows? I still feel that they are a total misrepresentation of what being a doctor really feels like. But I want to know which parts specifically you want clarification for.

Greys Anatomy is better in the beginning of the series! They are all first year interns and there is a LOT more surgery and medicine.!!!

I no longer watch greys anatomy cause all my favorite characters kept dying and it was pissing me off. But the earlier seasons were really good. There were a lot of surgeries done depending on the episode. There were surgeons who specialized in cardio thoracic, neonatal, ortho, neuro, general surgery and plastics. They would do consults and different surgeries. Idk how the show is structured now but I definitely recommend you watch the earlier seasons!

I think it would be more interesting to see a review on some of the first season while the main characters are interns or when they first become residents. And it would definitely be cool if you found an episode where a huge trauma happened and told us if that’s at all what it’s like when a real trauma happens!

Love your channel❤️ The first few seasons are more focused on medicine and the struggles of life as a surgeon. If you could watch from the beginning on Netflix and tell us how realistic their lives and attitudes towards medicine are that would be awesome! Thanks:)

Could you watch the first season please? Then explain what they should and shouldn’t be doing as far as the surgeries and what their responsibilities are, how long they would have been studying medicine for etc. X X

Wyatt is adorable! For Grey's Anatomy, some episodes have barely any medicine while others are filmed almost entirely in the OR (in my opinion) so I think it depends on the episode

New subscriber! Great content! I’m a full time nurse and my husbands in pharmacy school. We have an almost 1yr old and I’m due with #2 in June. I put way to high expectations on myself to do it all and maintain my house. Seeing your house gives me a breath of fresh air, we can only do so much but I tend to beat myself up over it.

I’ve heard that in real life surgery residents definitely don’t get to perform nearly as many surgeries as the residents do on Grey’s. I definitely agree with your opinions!

Just curious.. have you seen another medical show called Chicago Med ? It is one of favorite shows.. I feel like they have a good amount of medical events as well as drama
