Got to try these once with a friend, these were simply outstanding. The bass depths are real and pounding. Thanks for your review.

You and Andrew are my favorite IEM reviewer. Thanks for another great video!

It may not be a new IEM, but very relevant any way. Good choice! (Was schocked to see how large they are, so good you showed them while wearing them)

Even though there's already a review on Empires Ears Odin, I would like to see your video take on it, along with other crazy high end IEMs for comparisons.

A comparison with Unique Melody MEST mk2 would be great.

Precog, you rule. I find most iem reviews, written and recorded boring. Especially the ones that just can't bring themselves to say anything explicitly critical of anything (Head-Fi I'm looking at you). You go in to a lot of depth and take the time to explain what the heck it is you're talking about. Thank you!

Several reviewers have asserted the Z1R doesn't fit well. I've had mine for just over a week now and I find they're the most comfortable, best fitting IEMs I've ever used, including the Beyerdynamic Xelento. As for tuning, I have everything from classical, jazz, 1940s, 50s, 60s..., Latin, international, etc. everything, absolutely everything sounds amazing through these IEMs - provided you use a good DAC/amp and high resolution files (e.g., FLAC). I understand the criticism of male vocals the least. I've listened to Tom Waits, Bowie, Lou Reed, The Beatles, Elton John, Jethro Tull, Rolling Stones, Jonathan Richman, Talking Heads... they all sound excellent. If you've got the $$$, get these, you won't regret it.

Thank you mama, thank you dad - no issue for me with fit!
Got them a week ago and I am shocked by the IER-Z1R. I wish I could return 95% of my 10 year collection of iems. Guess will keep only the IE80, IE800, the UM Mest, the LZ A6, the FDX1 and 2-3 more. The only one that competes with Z1R, is the Mest, and might be the U12t. But none, except the Mest and the Z1R, has the perfection, imaging and staging of a TOTL open headphone.

I wonder why they haven’t improved the shape of these to make them fit more people. I will definitely buy one if they change the shape of it.

I’m curious what Andrew has to say about this one. I absolutely love my pair, a year later it still puts a smile on my face every morning

Please compare the 1zr with the Maestro SE, especially in bass and treble

Do you think using the EARTUNE FIDELITY
Custom-fit IEM Ear Tips with this IEM will help in making it more human ear friendly?

Although I’m never ever gonna purchase something as expensive as this, I sure hope I can try them out at least once if a store is ever nice enough to put them on a show lol

How do they sound with metal r&b & jazz music ?

Excellent review! That is to say: it matches my own impressions. :-)

In the Z1R frequency response graph, what are the green and blue line standing for? If that is representing L and R, then it's scary to see a 5db difference at 6K between the L & R.

personally I preferred the bass on the u12t and tia trio, but to each their own.

Can you please tell me how they are with classical music? Thanks a lot.
