The Western theme was on of the best LEGO lines in my opinion, so I'm looking forward to see how you modified this great set!

Gold city junction was always my second favourite Wild West set behind fort legoredo. Some might say secret hideout or sheriffs lockup but gold city looks straight out of a movie.

Nice way to expand out both those spaces for more detail! Makes it a lot more fun! The bank expansion does look realistic with the broken / worn / aged sections of wall. General store looks like what I'd imagine :)

Great modifications and improvements. Love how you tweak these sets yet still maintain their original charm. LEGO made some classically simple sets back in the day. Western was a great theme. Only suggestion: I think the long brown wall on the store looks quite plain - maybe break it up with some foliage, a poster, a window, etc?

The western theme from the 90s was a great series. I'd love to have some of these sets and I'm a little sad that there's no real current equivalent! You mention the size. It looks to me that these windows and doors are the old - shorter; ones. That could be why it looks smaller. Some great pieces and details in here! Some great modifications you made - great integration of the new and old. Well done and thanks a lot for sharing! :-)

Hi doc no need to replace white or light colour bricks. A weak solution of hydrogen peroxide from the pharmacy put in a clean jar with lid, put in sunlight brings back the original colour after a few days. Alas on scratches it doesn't work. Regards David.
