The stunning Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, Iceland

Показать описание
The Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, lying at the base of the Vatnajokull Ice-Cap, from which icebergs calve off, then float out to the sea.
The variety of colours within the ice are amazing - these colours are interrupted by marked darker (even black) bands, these formed by volcanic ash raining down across the ice-cap during past eruptions, notably the 2010 eruption from Eyjafjallajökull.
Amazing!
