I wish Lego still made themes like this

I wish they would do themes like this, i know they would sell. Just try telling me a litle kid wouldn't want to imagine being a cowboy/gunslinger protecting the town from bad guys, a pirate bording ships and adventuring on an island in search of burried treasure, a police officer in space arresting a bunch if aliens, a miner using big drills to fight off rock monsters, a knight in shining armor slaying the dragon, an adventurer discovering hiden treasure while dodging traps and curses. I dont know about you guys but that sounds like what a kid would want to play with to me. Not book stores, airports, car washes and gas stations

Looking back on all these amazing themes really puts into perspective how dull lego themes are currently. Today all you can find on the shelves are Star Wars, city, marvel, and a few others. As a huge Star Wars fan I don’t mind it too much but lego is milking the theme dry. What happened to the amazing themes like this one, pirates, castle, power miners, and most of all for me was Vikings. I love those sets but only 7 were released. Its insane to me bc now in order to get the sets I want, I have to pay double or more the original retail bc of how old some of these sets are /:

Would be good if they comeback with the cool themes in the modern days such as space, castle, pirates, and this.

I remember as a kid I wrote to Lego in the early 90s saying that I felt cowboys and indians were the one theme that seemed to be missing from their lineup, and istr we got a nice letter back from them. A couple of years later these sets came out. I have to guess some other kids wrote in too. I never actually got a western Lego set though - I would have been around 10 when they actually came out - but I always thought they looked cool.

I remember receiving fort lego redo for Christmas when I was a kid. Played with it so much. It's too bad lego doesn't really make themes like this anymore. Seems more like they cater to collector adults now.

I love the classic LEGO themes but sadly I don't think they will ever return. But who knows you can always hope.

I have like 3 of the original solder figures lol from 6706 i remember now lol! Eh ive been collecting lota newer sets of soldiers from lone ranger I have a nice platoon but still wish I culdive gotten the wagon 6716 probably 8 to go with the set I wish I culd post a pic I loved the old sets they brought joy to me for a while thanks for the Video!
