BJP IT cell is unable to create a better narrative since PK quit their camp...also the party leadership has done precious little to address any strategic heft to the ground level organization...also lack of principled polity of encouraging turncoats need to be discarded right away

in a huge populous country like India 1% Un. employment = 1.5 Cr = 15 Million People which in itself an entire country. So government cannot chill. Western economist cannot fathom the scale of countries like india, and strict adherence to inflation has resulted in artificial unemployment crisis in india. India has to selectively bring the cost of capital down in industries that create a lot of job and do not depend on Imports. Developenment and re-developement of Real estate, Heavy industry, and other are virtually the way forward. Strategic Treaties with countries like Japan, to acknowledge Indian assets a security in Japanese banks for cheap loans in priority sector can boost the growth for both the countries. Also forcing Russians to Invest their Rupee reserve in Indian Infra without government guarantee is the path ahead. We also need to liberate our major economic hubs like Mumbai, Bangalore, and others from the burden of state politics. Something all the 4 major economics ahead of us has successfully done (US, China, Germany, Japan) according to their extent. We need Free flow of foreign talent into india.

You're missing the fact that congress fought on much less seats this time than in 2019, and BJP fought on more seats this time than on 2019. Given that they were fighting on less seats and still managed to up their vote share is a big gain. Instead of comparing BJP vs congress you should be comparing NDA vs INDIA vote share

The vote shifted to INDIA alliance not because of anything they did but because of what BJP didn't do with 10 years in power.
Modi & Shah refuse to accept its their own doing that resulted in this.
BJP will always be seen as a upper caste Hindu party. It may have build alliances but could not build the trust among Dalits, Tribals and EBC's. who along with Minorities account for 66% vote (20% Minorities, 16% SC, 7% ST and 23% EBC).

11:08 It's because people know, no matter how bad things are right now, Congress can always make it worse. 😂😂
Voters have already given the Congress party 60 years, now they want to try a couple of decades of the BJP. 😊😊

Modi & Shah are doing firefighting to appease RSS and hold their ranks together. That explains the Hindutva pitch and not the seemingly logical explanation of DK based on the CSDS survey. Whatever the pollsters may say, it is apparent that the set back suffered by BJP is due to voters apathy towards the government for taking Hindutva more seriously than the economic issues. But BJP’s immediate priorities remain in keeping the RSS in peace.

1. Government should remove all tax barriers for start ups. We have start up India and there have been unicorns and progress but still Government can do a lot more! Incentivize setting up companies, factories, and industries instead of trying to take tax from them.

2. Massive Massive infrastructure push. Yes, Gadkari has good very good work but our country simply needs an infrastructure facelift across the board at "scale" hitherto undreamt of. Roads, Ports, Bridges, Airports. That will generate employment.

3. Middle Class needs a tax cut badly. Purchasing power of people needs to be increased to solve the demand side of the economy.

Problem with Ultra left- They need to go to more left to be relevant with in der support base. Stalin has reached that and hence after that Soviet union became weaker and weaker.

Problem with Right - They will go towards Right, one after another leader. They can reach till Hitler. Modi, was more in Right than Advani, who was more right than Atal. Yogi is now more in right than Modi.
So they will reach till Hitler. This is der final destination and it is bound to happen.

Interestingly this was very well predicted by Prashant Kishor in his interviews well before June 4th.

Economic disenchantment among vulnerable and marginalised communities were one of the main reasons for BJP's below par electoral performance.

The ongoing protests in Bangladesh shoes why that country has higher per capita than India and why it is good candidate for becoming the most developing region in South Asia because Bangladeshi people seem to understand that reservations to some extent are fine if they actually helping any backward communities but nit as state policy and policy of all political parties to grab piwer.

As always DK conquered the show with razor sharp analysis and data points. I wish this story/column/video could have more length and some more anecdotes from different states ruled by BJP. DK sir, Kudos !! One more thing.. in your opinion which state polls can be good litmus test for this theory??

Job creation is going to be a huge challenge for India. It should not have let the population get to this level of 1.5 billion. With automation and AI even huge factories and industry need few workers. With a gdp of 20 trillion USA has jobless issues with a population of only 350 million or so. People should try migration to get employed

Funnel future investments to Tyre 2 cities which have an exciting operational airport like Coimbatore, Vijayawada, Raipur, Jarsuguda, Nagpur, Ranchi, Gwalior, Alwar, Manglore, Hubli Jabalpur, Mysore etc and decongest existing metros and create employment opportunities in every state.

1. Govt knows what it is doing when it is publishing the employment data. Employment does not mean only Govt and private sector formal employment. It has a broader definition and the data is in line with it. 2. It is a fact that India has a huge number of unskilled, unemployable young people. They need to be taken care of somehow either by having urban MNREGA or some such scheme, for which fiscal provision has to be made. 3. DK is talking as if Modi goes today and Rahul comes tomorrow, unemployment is going to vanish. He is still not fully recovered from his disappointment of INDI Alliance losing 2024 elections!! If BJP is making mistakes about going after Hindutva rather than employment, why is DK bothered? Let Modi make mistakes and INDI Alliance come to power!!!! 4. DK, a serious political analyst, should seriously review his own performance over last 1 year !!!
