Worked perfectly! Just got the ge branded version of this dryer installed today & its nice & quiet & dries the clothes great but omfg the buzzer! Its the loudest most startling buzzer I've ever heard & it goes off two times for entirely to long each time. After one load I searched for how to disable it & luckily immediately found this video. Worked like a charm & literally took about 5 minutes to do. What is GE thinking with this? Insane

Disabled mine last night.

Thank you so much for this. We just got a new dryer a few weeks ago. I was so happy with this thing until the first time I heard that buzzer. Foolishly, I decided to do a load of laundry last night. I don't know what I was thinking. The clothes were drying away, and the cat and I had both nearly dozed off on the couch as the tv watched us, when that sound from the pit of hell jolted us both from the brink of sleep. I literally screamed "Jesus!, " as the cat jumped and ran like she was on fire. So glad I found this video, because I was tempted to take a bat to that thing.

It is completely unacceptable!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Took me 5 minutes to disable it and I’m SO happy!!! My cats ran for their lives every time it buzzed and my heart pounded out of my chest for a few minutes until I could recover 😂
