I used to watch vice every single day. Along with the local news, democracy now, tyt, and sometimes RT. I always considered it an amazing news source. But this story along with several others you have done lately are just not at all on point. Bernie has not changed at all. He is the exact same person that ran a year ago. He was a friendemy to the party as you call it in this piece then too. What your negating to take into account during the timeline of speeches you gave of his is that A. a good rhetorician adjusts to their audience without sacrificing truth or morals; and B. that the Keith Ellison battle and several other small ones were waging all throughout that time period. A party can have different views within itself, its how they come up with new and better ideas. And primaries are always a good thing because they give us true democracy within the confines of our weird system. Because otherwise its just the party choosing not the people. Imagine that playing out on a local level to the party. (I have seen what happens first hand in Wisconsin). Very poorly done piece, you guys should find more passionate principled reporters. I miss the old host and a lot of the old reporters. They were real, and that is something thats rare nowadays.

This piece was so confusing. It started out good, but then took a turn around 2/3rds of the way through and started all of a sudden bashing Bernie Sanders for being cautious about his own goals. It's as if they were trying to convince Bernie supporters and people interested in him that he's not capable of being a leader or something, and they did it in a way that started out by appealing to their fondness for Bernie Sanders but then turned on him in a sudden and passive aggressive way. Complete political propaganda if you ask me.

I don't think I will be watching any more Vice news. You are not a very intelligent reporter. When you play devils advocate and ask really inappropriate questions you are not reporting the news, you are trying to be the news. Mr. Sanders is working hard to save our country, he is not swaying from that goal. He needs support and is looking at the party that at least leans towards "we the people". Or maybe you think trump is doing well as the "lone deranger"?

Its easy to see why he is th emost popular politican in the US, you rarely see anyone with a political career than clean and authentic and that is an understatment.

Honestly, I thought the framing by this journalist was pretty shallow.

Bernie Sanders was always a politician not a revolutionary, his intention was always to push the democratic party towards a progressive agenda. He's committed essentially to liberalism, unlike left-wing revolutionaries. I don't see the discrepancy between claiming that the media and politics is designed to tell the people that only incremental change is possible, while also claiming that you want to open up those domains to more democratic control.

He's a SOCIAL DEMOCRAT, not a democratic socialist. If you are going to take the effort to make a piece about leftwing movements, learn some of the basic distinctions.
