This needs a urgent update, turns out Mullvad might be the best choice out of the two if you've watched Lunduke.

For me, Mullvad was the ONLY real choice. I tried LibreWolf, and it wouldn't allow me to use a "dark" theme. My eyesight is crummy (I'm 72, but have the eyes of a hundred year-old!), and white text on a black background is legible, for the opposite, I have to stick my face a few inches from the display. An advantage of Mullvad over Firefox is it's faster. All of my 'puters are "elderly" (in "computer years"), so that's important.

As far as I can tell DoH is not enabled by default on LibreWolf. You have to choose a DNS server on your own to even use it. I don't understand where Cloudflare is coming from on your installation.

Yeah I agree 💯 % with you I have both mullvad and librewolf just depends on what you do right .. I think like you too about this too. I wish they had them for Android phones too

I don't like FF/Tor Browser approach to fingerprinting regarding screen and window resolution. It is great pain in the ... to work with - window size often is ridiculous (especially that I use TreeStyle Tab extension); when resizing to more desirable size, one probably immediately fingerprint oneself. Second of all it produces almost unique resolutions anyway. Why not just fake-reporting to scripts that resolution is let's say FullHD and Window Size is most common size of maximized window on default Windows installation in such resolution and be done with it? Although I always force YT to be in one column, so I would need an on-per-site basis ability to turn off such faking.

I for one now use 3 browsers (LibreWolf, Mukllvad and the Linux Mint modify Firefox browser) but it seems to me that people are demanding more private browsers which in my option is should have been always the case but nope it has not being but it seems to becoming the norm to have privacy free browsers of course they are not going to be 100% private but hey they are better then most browsers now a days but then again browsers is like choosing the next president who is the less evil of all of them and which one is more private for me LOL so I just get tired of switching browsers because I went form using the official Firefox to Linux Mint modify Firefox (which is great) to Waterfox (has turned into evil so big no no) then LibreWolf (excellent) and now Mullvad (becoming excellent) but boy what ride is has been with browsers but I guess it the same with communications applications like email clients and instant messaging and media applications such as media players and music players etc so it just changing with time I guess it just I am like an old dog who can do new tricks but chooses not to if given the choice LOL but I guess we all need to involve to better things I guess :)

I've never used MULVAD or whatever ti was.... I HAVE used Libre Wolf. The only thing I didn't like was if I went to YOUTUBE from Libre Wolf- the dark theme didn't stick- but I found an extenstion that fixes that-- other than that- I LOVE Libre wolf.. it's FAST- secure- and good for me...

I still love Librewolf, I haven't used it in a while but out of the box Librewolf still does it for me, sign in, and it keeps my cookies. Mullvad doesn't. Just saying.

LibreWolf browser provides better privacy by protecting against 23 URL parameters that can track you. Mullvad and Tor browsers do not.

wouldnt ever use Librewolf again after I heard that the main-maintainer is anti a-political stuff and people and refuses to lead that project in a a-political way. Sure, his project, his rules and how he wants it. But there is no way I am gonna use something like a Browser thats openly maintained as a tool to spread political views. Im not making myself a mouthpiece for ANY political view of somebody.

Howzit STW, excellent video I use Librewolf and it works well for what I need a chrome replacement that is secure. I have trouble deciding what is the best private search engine I used to be a DDGO user however since they are in bed with MS I am using Google and I do not like it at all.
