i did a dish inspired by this, without the carbs (potato and pasta) and with a small steak, also instead of goat cheese i used ricotta (im not rich you know), and it was absolutely wonderful!

did this dish had any protein? doesn't seem like it, also, how important is protein when training?

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, I bet it's tasty but being my father from liguria where the italian pesto was invented I consider it blasphemy to do it any other way than the original one.
I know, it's my fault that I'm not open minded, but this is one of the dished i like the most and the one with I've grown up.
