Mayn vaybs vunder (a parody of Gots Vunder by Isaac Reingold)

Yiddish music publishing companies paid young rhymesters to create new versions of old songs, some American pop tunes and some famous older Yiddish songs, like "Gots vunder," which was written in the 19th century. Isaac Reingold was one of the best of these lyricists, he lived in Chicago and died very young from hard living. Here, he gives a description of how one could pull oneself up out of poverty and become as rich and corrupt as other Americans.
