I'm grateful, in moments like these, for an insatiable appetite for knowledge - My a-levels, however, made me want to smash a face-shaped crater into my desk. I love literature, psychology fascinates me, and sociology is something we're all innately aware of, but I convinced myself that I wasn't the scholar that my teachers believed me to be, and so I wasted two years of my life at that blasted school.
Now, though, I'm working towards an honours in natural sciences. I was afraid that my enthusiasm and zeal for learning had been totally quashed, but it's flourishing again, for the first time in almost three years.
