How to EASILY Color Match SONY and BLACKMAGIC

Hi All!  I'm Jeremy!  I’ve developed our workflow when it comes to color grading here are Round 7 Productions.  This is my first-ever YouTube video, so please be kind!  😃

💡In this episode, we’re going to show you how we get our Sony and Blackmagic footage to match perfectly really quickly.  We’re all about finding processes that are easy to follow for small teams, and give us consistent results FAST!

We will be working in DaVinci Resolve with Color Management.

Appreciate this. My only criticism is that while you can change white balance on RAW files without altering color, the same cannot be said about log footage. While it might not be noticeable if you're only a few hundred Kelvin off, it will be very noticeable if your WB is markedly off. Better to set WB in camera, particularly on Sony right before the shoot if at all possible.

Thanks for this. I'm on a BlackMagic ecosystem but considering an FX30 for my gimbal work cause of the auto focus. Seeing the footage work together make me want to add an FX30 to our mix.
