I was a waiter for a little bit. I got into a verbal argument with the pizza cook and when I served the customer the pizza they said this exactly. "The louder the staff the better the food" and he left me a $5 tip which was awesome for all I had to do with the customer. He only needed one refill, no to go box, and was a nice guy just laughing at the argument

I worked in a restaurant that was owned by an Egyptian man, but ironically, it wasn’t an Egyptian restaurant. But this guy had more passion than I’ve ever seen. He actually came in one day, and helped us get through a dinner service because our head chef was out. He even asked me what would be a fair price for the meal plans we had… and I worked in the dishpit (but would occasionally help behind the line).
