Scott is an active husband and father who began to experience progressively worsening back pain six years ago. After discussing his pain with a chiropractor and having x-rays taken, it was clear that Scott was suffering from a case of mild scoliosis.

In adults, even mild scoliosis, which is curvature of the spine, can cause a great deal of pain. Scott had four different curves, ranging from 15 to 30 degrees. Scott hadn’t been able to pick up his children or play the sports he loved in years due to his scoliosis. His ability to function was being greatly affected by the pain. Chiropractic care helped decrease his pain, but didn’t solve the root problem. He needed scoliosis treatment.

Scott had a friend who is a chiropractor that suggested he visit Dr. Tony Nalda at the Scoliosis Reduction Center, where he began a course of non-surgical conservative scoliosis treatment.

Scott learned that adult scoliosis pain is due to compression, unlike adolescent scoliosis that is affected by growth and isn’t often painful. Adults with mild scoliosis often suffer significantly more pain than adolescents with the same degree of curvature.

After a week of treatment at the Scoliosis Reduction Center, Scott’s spinal curves had been reduced by approximately 50%. He had a significant reduction in pain after his conservative scoliosis treatment.

The treatment that Scott underwent with Dr. Nalda and the staff at the Scoliosis Reduction Center was non-surgical and conservative. Adjustments, strengthening, stretching, and other treatments successfully reduced the curvature of Scott’s spine.

Seven months later, the nerve pain was not as severe as when Scott initially consulted with Dr. Tony Nalda, but he still found that it kept him from doing some of the things he enjoyed. After his second course of treatment the curves in Scott’s spine all measured less than 10 degrees. He was nearly free from scoliosis and in far less pain.

Dr. Nalda explains that some of his best results are adult cases with mild scoliosis. He doesn’t feel that this is because of their age, but rather is a result of commitment to scoliosis treatment and the desire to get better. Scott committed to the process and worked hard, leading to a very positive outcome.

After his second round of treatment for scoliosis pain, Scott found that he could enjoy activities that he hadn’t been able to participate in for years. He resumed sports such as playing basketball and playing soccer with his children. And he was finally able to lift and carry the kids without pain.

Dr. Nalda credits the successful outcome of Scott’s treatment to his hard work, the support of his family, and his commitment to getting better.

Mild adult scoliosis and the pain that results can, as seen in Scott’s case, be successfully reduced with professional conservative scoliosis treatment. The curvature of Scott’s spine is now significantly reduced and the accompanying pain lessened so that he can return to his previous active life.

interesting findings you have here. I watched your video on gravity being a factor. Have you implemented the reverse table treatment in conjunction with the treatments you are doing?

I have kyphosis and scoliosis and my spine is rubbing against my shoulder. I have no idea what to do. Is there any stretches or exercises I can do? I wish I lived in Florida so I could see you
