Irish MEP Clare Daly condemns the phrase 'Europe stands with Israel'

“She does not speak for me. She does not speak for Ireland. And she does not speak for the citizens of Europe.”

Irish MEP Clare Daly condemned the phrase "Europe stands with Israel" which was said by the president of the EU commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in a speech on Monday, saying: “we stand for justice for the people of Palestine and for the upholding of international law.”

I had the luck to be in Dublin in 1990, when Mandela held a public speech in centre town after he was just released from his 27 years prisony; He was there to thank Ireland for have been standing on his side during all those years, for standing against apartheid a for standing for freedom and justice.
It warms my heart to see that after 33 years Irish people is still on the right side of humanity.
