Here's the latest in Helldivers 2 News!
The Bot Major Order is looking a bit "iffy" as we may be running out of time. Helldivers and Crossover Events is back in the news. Would you rock a Doom Slayer or Master Chief cosmetic in the game? Is this even a good idea? Based on the recent Escalation of Freedom Trailer, there were far more bugs than bots. Does this mean the end of the Automatons?

HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

I think Helldivers are good enough on there own that they don’t need other media filtering in

My "in mission" time is a little over 310 hours. I have every item available in game. I have every warbond completed. I have every item available on the super store. I have every ship module. I honestly love getting ragdolled. I get excited when i see 2 gunship factories right next to a jammer. If i see f*cken bunny ears, im out. Period.

People are forgetting in the new update trailer we also saw a new scout strider that looked to have more armor and rockets, so im pretty sure both bots and bugs are getting three new enemy types. the fact that a professional news outlet missed what was absolutely obvious in the trailer its pretty funny, its literally shown in the first 40 seconds of the trailer XD

I mean, there’s already mods where you can equip Chief’s armor, Stormtrooper armor, etc. I think there’s a difference between OPTIONAL immersion breaking for MYSELF and FORCED immersion breaking for EVERYONE.

I would say for crossovers, if they want to do it, starship troopers should be the first thought.
Super destroyers skinned with the cruisers or the dropships as Pelicans.

Absolutely no crossovers. This isn't Fortnight or some other garbage brand. This is Helldivers. It doesn't need any other IPs. It stands on its own.

I think there should be a very niche but funny "times ragdolled" stat to view at the end of bot missions. It would be unreal to see the numbers

It would be fun to have stuff that's themed like other games but not literally from other games. For example something like ODST themed armor that can be called "helljumper" armor but have no in lore relation to ODSTs

You have totally misunderstood. All those planets have NEGATIVE decay.

Estanu is losing ground because it has -2% decay and we are only achieving about 1.8% liberation. So every hour we lose 0.2% liberation

I would love to see a reference to the Starship troopers franchise, just imagine a game with the assault infantry icon

If you're going to do cosmetics I think obviously you have to go Starship Troopers and Terminator because that's where a lot of the influence comes from.

Outside of that maybe Halo because the armors are kind of similar.
