Great tips!!! We have straight load trailer, and always free the horse first, and the open the back bar.

This was really helpful we use latches that are breakaway so also we use bailing twine that seems to work this was very helpful

I have a stock trailer and the horse can walk around the trailer. When I load my horse, should I tie the horse before I leave the trailer and close the door? Is it safe to do that?
If I don't tie my horse before I leave the trailer, the horse might move around, how can I tie the horse outside? Thank you for your help.

How do you get the divider closed if your horse isn’t used to it? Mine will load easy but he backs out if I try to close the divider.
