Overall well thought out rig Ivan. It's not too busy and has just the right amount of gear. I've got 2 Cudas that are pretty much barren (like my wallet) that I hope to trick out this summer. I like having my live bait in front of me for easy access...so I'll probably mount my fish/depth finder to the aft. I did the milk crate in the back and am not in love with it so I'll most likely change that out. For now, I'll dream a bit. Nice video and good advice.

Charles - I mounted the transducer inside the hull. I used the mount offered by Humminbird specifically for kayaks.

Silent traction works great. I recommend thoroughly cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol first.

I am buying a cuda 12 or coosa in 2 weeks. unfortunately I cannot afford to gig it up totally in 1season. I will have to be patient and add bits over the next few seasons. I have to say, ivan has a sweet set up

Guy4fishn - I used 1 kit from Hook1. I recommend using painters tape to make a mold then transfer to ST and cut. I have had excellent results in the application. The key was to thoroughly clean with rubbing alcohol before applying.

SWEET Setup dude! Ive been trying to find a Cuda 12 with a BlackPak on it for days.. glad i stumbled on this. I just got gifted a BlackPak and plan on buying a Cuda in a month or two.. was wondering how it fit in the Cuda 12's storage well.

Tucker - i added the silent traction. Check out Hook1's website. They offer different sizes. I used painters tape to trace a mold. Key for a good solid adhesive is to prep the surface with rubbing alcohol.

Cruz - not sure what you mean. The silent traction padding has a strong adhesive that you peel off, like a sticker. Need to thoroughly clean the surface

Absolutely awesome, man. Hope you had a great season on the water. With all the compartments at the front, do you find that you have enough room to stand comfortably?

Ivan ... nice set up, man. I just bought a Cude 14. Haven't taken it out yet due to cold weather. Thought I would take it out pretty much as is for a few shake down cruises, then add gear as I go. Have you thought about adding a trolling motor for longer trips?

I love my Cuda 12. Just curious where did you mount the transducer.? Jackson fishing kayaks have very deep and big scupper cavities that work great for mounting the transducer. I mounted on both the Cuda12 and the Big Tuna.

Have you noticed the Silent Traction peeling up at all, particularly where your feet rest? I have a Coosa and am interested in adding it to it.

How well is the silent traction holding up? Is it staying stuck to the floor? I had heard that the ruff texture of the floor areas of the cuda's made it difficult to stay stuck. Also, how many kits did you use for your setup? I have a 2012 Cuda, and I'm thinking about installing it on mine.
