Since then, once a month (and every month), we have to take the car to drive 4 hours to bring it to the nearest large hospital to be followed by doctors.
You’ve been in the car with us every month for a year. With your music. With all these incredible waves you send! You are with us. You color the world around us. You make it more beautiful, more pleasant, sweeter.
Your next album is coming in a few months, and I can’t wait to show it to my daughter. We’ll put it in the car when we go to the hospital in Bordeaux for it... as we do with all your albums.
I have no words to thank you for the music you make. But I think this story can help you understand how important you and your music is to me, to us.

Dan really did find a needle in a haystack when finding these two. These two guys really made me feel proud to be a Latino, the heritage of our ancestors and lineage. Shortly after I started listening to them, a friend who lives in Bogata, Columbia was home visiting and wanted to know if I liked something he had been listening to. Just saw the brothers for the third time. You think this is intoxicating on record? Live, this soulful sound will transport you to the stars. Maybe it's Canadian audiences? 2500 in a historic theater in Vancouver on Aug 8th and not one person talking to endanger the pristine sound and hypnotic vibe. I'm heartsick they have no more US shows aside from ACL fest in 2024 and they will be in Australia after that . . .

El año pasado, en abril, fui padre por primera vez - una niña. Después de un largo mes, 24 horas al día, en el hospital, los médicos le descubrieron una rara enfermedad pulmonar. La tendrá toda su vida. ¡Al mismo tiempo descubrí su música!
Desde entonces, una vez al mes (y todos los meses), tenemos que ir en coche durante 4 horas para llevarla al gran hospital más cercano a nuestra casa para que la sigan médicos.
Hace un año que todos los meses, en cada viaje, estás con nosotros en el coche. Con tu música. ¡Con todas esas ondas increíbles que envías! Estás con nosotros. Estás coloreando el mundo que nos rodea. Lo haces más hermoso, más agradable, más suave.
Su próximo álbum llegará en unos meses, y no tengo más que una prisa, hacer que mi hija lo descubra. Nos pondremos el coche cuando vayamos al hospital en Burdeos por ella... como hacemos con todos sus álbumes.
