Let's Talk About The Star Rail & Fate Stay Night Collaboration | Honkai Star Rail Discussion

During the Honkai Star rail 2.4 special program the biggest announcement was not the newest characters or that we'll be going back to the xianzhou luofu. Instead the biggest and most surprising announcement is the collaboration between honkai star rail and the fate stay night unlimited bladeworks series slated to be released in 2025. Now we dont know much about the collab and what it might entail but this can be both a positive thing or a negative thing so I wanted to discuss it in more detail and perhaps guess what we might be in for

This video is mostly a discussion on the honkai star rail collaboration with fate stay night and its meant to just openly talk about the possible content for the collab so take with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a jumping off point for discussing honkai star rail

EMIYA, Gilgamesh, Shirou, Rin, Illya, Artoria and Heracles are the ones most likely to appear on the banners. The masters like 4 stars and the servants like 5 stars.

After this collaboration, one with Honkai Impact 3rd would be interesting, due to the presence of Welt. Although this may happen in the main story if they bring the honkai to the Star Rail universe, although, it may be that I just want to see Kiana in the game... And Bronya and Mei, who am I kidding

I think one of the major concern for this collab is the fandom. Knowing how big both Nasuveree and Hoyo fandom, both the IP have very huge toxicity so we might expect huge clash of biasy towards both community

I love renaissance Fate and just the Nasuverse in general is having.
The OG visual novels are being released for the first time in the West, there's a bunch of new projects being hinted at, and now we have this.
It's just amazing to see what's happening.
Saber is definitely becoming a 5 star, she's the mascot.
And either Gilgamesh or Archer is going to become the 2nd banner 5 star(If we are getting a 2nd banner that is)
I doubt we'd see any of the Masters actually become playable because they don't really have much to match the hype Servants can bring, at least power and aesthetics-wise.
But I could be proven wrong.

The HI3 X EVA colab was so awesome and it wasn't immersion breaking because HI3 deals with bubble universes and or they just straight up reveal that the thing we are playing is just a game. Which they done like twice already for events. For characters that released for the colab asuka, she wasnt that strong more of a personal collection purpose. You can get the character for free and her weapon. The story was just eva with HI characters in it which is fitting. Super fun

Fate is one of my fav anime and seeing one of my fav anime collabing with one of my fav games of all time is amazing
any type of fate content is appriciated by me and id love to see how they make it
also about the immersion i dnt think it should be too much of a problem due to how the star rail universe is
they can just make it so that the fate world somehow got transported from another universe to star rail universe due to something and we might get a story regarded that
its just wishful thinking but this way id think they will rly break the immersion that much
also id love to see actual playable char than just skins
playing Saber Gil and other char like illiya and rider etc would be a delight

IDK shit about Genshin or Honkai, but that Robot Heracles thing looks like a knock off Shockwave, and given Transformers is big in Japan I wouldn’t doubt it.

When i know hsr collab with fate unlimited blade work, I immediately downloaded it again after not playing it for a long time because I lost during Ruan Mei's first banner.i already play many game who have my boy emiya shirou like fgo jp and en, the battle cat, fate/extella etc
I hope he not free like alloy in genshin and end up like trash, i willing whale up for E7 Emiya if he in hsr but is fucking to long 2025

I highly suggest that they do skins instead of new characters or making them characters just because it might take away from what they could’ve done with their own original characters right and give it into these and another thing they might be too strong or unfair or it would be less likely to come back so I think skins are better

well, Joke aside, Genshin Impact actually have Horizon Zero Dawn collab .

The collab characters should ABSOLUTELY be meta or I dont see any reason why you would pull them other than collecting them which is a strange thing to do. And about the issue of no reruns, the same logic everyone uses can be aplied here: Pull for whoever you like. So If you didn't pull the collab units because you didn't like them. That's on you.
