Wanderstop is a narrative-centric cozy game about change and tea. Playing as a fallen fighter named Alta, you’ll manage a tea shop within a magical forest and tend to the customers who pass through. But Alta does not want to be here. And if she gets her way, the tea shop will be nothing but a brief and painful memory.

I like how lowkey meta this trailer is. Playing with your expectations by showing you a run of the mill cozy indie farming game like the countless that show up in these showcases, and then it hits you with the existential dread.

Huh, I wonder if Davey is familiar with Berserk, Vagabond, or Vinland Saga, because the premise for this is surprisingly reminiscent. It's such an effective framework for exploring how to enjoy the simple beauty in life despite all of the hardships that may have shaped you. Maybe that’s not exactly what this is, but if so, it's rather clever to use the trend of "cozy games" to tell such a story.

I love these kinds of games, but my wife has never really been into them until now. Wanderstop really looks like a great game to both of us. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
