Learn German Lesson 8 - Subordinate Clauses with "wenn" | Nebensätze mit "wenn"

In this lesson you we will learn how to use the conjunction “wenn”.
With “wenn” as a conjunction you generally form sentences that are called “Konditionalsätze” / conditional clauses. They are also subordinate clauses. In this lesson you will learn what they are, when to use them and how to form the sentences.
In addition to the many examples to make the sentence structure clear to you, there will also be a small exercise for you to practice what you have learned in this video.
There are also a few examples with “falls”. Learn to make your own sentences with “wenn”.

Now that I've taken classes where the teacher uses Umgangsprache in the recorded dialogs, I'm happy to hear people speaking German. The school I attended before that didn't believe in Umgangsprache. They taught gehobenen Deutsch and, when I spoke it at a club it cause a major problem with one guy, who yelled at me: Ich verabscheue Personen, die gehobenen Deutsch sprechen."
That's all I knew then. I didn't know colloquial speech until I quit the one school and found another.
