Have a XX and was debating between a speed and a turbo R…went with the Turbo R 4. Loving it.

Why didn’t you guys but it in low range with the front differential lock?
Speed UTV is very low geared in low range to keep the RPMs much lower to keep torque to the wheels. Unfortunately it sounds and looked like it was it high range and with out the front diff locked.

I really wanted Robbie to knock it out of the park with the speed. 4 wheel drive problems ? Transmission issues ? Front suspension squeaks galore ? Shifting problems ? Such a shame. Polaris pro r over this all day. The can am is goofy looking and fragile ( check out Rich Rules breaking the can am on flat ground ) .

I really wish speed would have went with a locked t-case. I am guessing having a center differential might be faster for desert racing but for rock crawling it just sucks. You really need the power to the front wheels to climb and pull you over things.

Fair simi review I’d like to know the front end issue wonder if it had something to do with the torque limiter and the 35s. I also feel like the style of cv the speed has makes it noisy. I had and xx and I was a little clunky but not as bad as the speed seam to be it also has a different style of plunging axle. Curious on how you guys rate the speed at high speed rough terrain I know my xx was awesome in the rough stuff.

Cant just put 35s and not expect to slip the belt has it had any clutch work.

Broken appears to be the standard condition of a Speed UTV. Buying one without the extended warrantee would be nuts.

The speed sounds like a pumped up weed eater. If i was just a high speed desert then maybe interested. But for the trail, crawling, and dunes, my krx and rzr is where its at.

The speed car seems a bit too high geared for rock crawling. No way will the belt last very long rock crawling. The car is probably better suited in the open Desert or Dunes.

Wish Speed the best. No hate here. That said, my Pro R 4 Ult is just on another level. Cool video as always. Oh and 35’s should be standard now.
