Is the V70 as strong underneath as the XC70 ? whilst not 4x4 as the XC, I was wondering is everything else as strong .Kind Thanks

I want to buy this wagon... But thanks to Volvo's misguided attempts in N American I can't. all they offer is the XC-70, manual transmission has become a thing of the past in The USA and Canada. I hate crossovers and hatchbacks. I want a station wagon.. bring back the V-70 and a manual transmission....
