You see what's happening here is mac is only pretending to be angry so that he fits in with Dennis and Dee but as time goes by he starts to become more friendly towards the bar staff. In other words he's playing both sides so he always comes out on top.

if anyone didnt pick up on it, this whole epsiode is a mocking of other sitcom shows. the "bell when to drink" for instance is mocking laugh tracks (when to laugh) i know most of you got it but if anyone was curious, thats why.
