Would someone please explain how in a series that has been this good, is an episode 8 that was so ridiculously bad, and just plain stupid, it passed understanding.
Among other things. Are these 8 <- same number as the episode..
A, (but not the biggest nonsense) a General who has been utterly protecting a secret for who knows how many years, Knowing it would totally alienate his me from him, outwardly shows it all in 2 minutes? really.

B, the same general, in an army..who doesn't wear a gun..? seriously.

C, when the gun doesn't fire and he realizes hes been tricked, does he storm round and have a go at the soldier Or just stand there within 2 feet of the guy we was going to kill, with a stupid look on his face. Remember this large man, has lead these troops for years, in a regime where people obey or die.

D, He then stands there (within 2 feet of this special forces guy he was trying to shoot) Who has his hands tied in front (not behind him) LOL its the desert, and he doesn't have the presence of mind to move a few feet away? While this trash is happening, his troops all get aboard the cars and drive off, with no complaint or objection from the General?

E, He then (still standing within 2 feet of this special forces guy) The General turns round with a frightened look on his face. (THE GUY IS TIED UP< AND HES IN THE DESERT...Y'KNOW... ROOM TO MOVE AND GET READY TO FIGHT< A TIED UP GUY) but noooo, he just stands there and waits to be hit. Looking like a scared little kid.

F, The special forces guy then... and you have to see this nonsense to believe it. STILL with tied up hands, hits him ONCE, and...You guessed it...Kills general idiot stone dead.
I'm sure that some martial arts "super masters" somewhere in time knew how to do this, with nasal cartlidges, and all that. With just the right hand stance, and pressure, and about a million years of training.
But this special forces guy just -ham- (two ham fistedly..as his hands are still tied) whallops this idiot, who still hast moved away from him)
Its a wonder that 2 out of three boxing matches dont end in deaths after one punch. let alone 200 blows.
The general could have run away, and the other guy would never have caught him, all off balance, hands tied. Hand tied bloke, is even seriously wounded...sigh)

G, When the wife of a guy who has been threatened by an evil kid whose sleeping with, and lying to their (illegally minor School girl) daughter, just to destroy the family. Asks her husband, "was it you who had him beaten up"
Does he *JUST* say "yes" with zero explanation, so he looks like a nutcase, who is having delusions of conspiracy?
Or does he say what anyone on the planet would, and spend a coupled of minutes telling her what the evil kid said to him in the car, and say "look at me Sarah (his wife) you can see in telling the truth."

H, OK this last one was so stupid, it was *almost, but not quite*  as stupid as the General scene.
White woman walking through the desert, sees bandits in a foreign country, where another local would not be bothered with. On the road, again middle of the dessert, So Nowhere to run. BUT (whew she has an easy get out of jail card) She is wearing local cloths, and has a face wrap quite visible.
So if she spent the 2 seconds <literally) to cover her face, they would pass as a local woman, shes even with a local kid.
She and he, walk to the side of the road, where the kid says "head down"
Then lol, the 2 vehicles loaded with guys who are carrying more weapons than an arsenal. pass within 6 and as its the desert, (nothing else in sight) they ALL look at the two walkers. But instead of seeing two locals, of zero interest.
They see a white woman in the middle of the dessert.
I realize this is just a TV show, but c'mon this stupidity of "writing" should have been rewarded with the "writer" being show the door, with a swift kick up the rear.

What a shame. it was a brilliant show. but this ...URRGG!!!
