Absolutely wonderful to see how it comes together with composers and director and the codependency on each other for creativity.

Music is not created, it's the language to say whatever we undergo in our daily lives ! Everyone has their way and style of music...but not all of them were good enough to express it..

Funny how the interviewer talked about how the superhero genre was about to die off like the western before it... Then Infinity War came out

16:40 "let's pause for more of that dialog then" <plays trailer with trailer music NOT written by Hans>

Nothing wrong with making books or movies about people with powers. The interviewer needs to stop being closed minded.

What did Zimmer think of the HARDTalk theme?. Only know of his music from watching this, I had heard is name mentioned a few times, never heard his scores, I hadn’t researched him, more familiar with George Fenton’s film and (TV scores of David Lowe).

Anger and hatred are emotions, which the Germanic Hitler easily exposed. So, it is positive emotions that us Germanic people, (I'm British) do not show off well.

Imagine Danny Elfman in that process with Nolan. Perhaps he could create something decent again.

Did he really just ask him where his ideas came from? Jesus fucking Christ.

I just made a recreation of a Man of Steel track, if anyone wants to here it check it out on my channel. I tried my best to get to sound like the original with a little bit of my touch on it, but only having 4GBs of RAM and having a lot of tracks don't really go well together so that was a hindrance on the process, but I worked my way around it and did what I could do, I hope you check it out and enjoy it.

The little fella just said that Hans Zimmer isn't a 'real musician'???? Hahahhahahaha what a dumb... on TV no less ...
What is a 'real musician' if not a man that does music? Hans wrote some songs... here and there... so qualifies as a 'real musician' in my opinion. But hey... this is BBC... what do you expect???
