Because of the current situations, we could not hold the event in person at the museum, but that didn't stop us! We brought you the next best thing, doing a virtual collaboration. We tried to keep this seem as close to the real thing as possible, doing things like handheld camerawork, event style machines, and a domino centerpiece. Domino World is such a special event to me, and everyone on the team. It just didn't feel right not to collaborate again this summer, despite the limitations. I had such a fun this past week and a half, it definitely evoked the feeling of a real live event. Building with my best friends, working out transitions, bouncing ideas off each other, and having fun each night. As far as the team dynamic, I think it's the perfect group. The obvious talent and artistry of each builder aside, we all get along really well, and we all share a very similar artistic vision for the project as a whole. I'm so proud of the team this year for overcoming the difficulties of a "virtual live event, " and for creating truly stunning works of art in such a short amount of time. The final video turned out so much better than I could have imagined, and I think this group of builders was especially well-suited to pull it off. That said though, I can't wait to (hopefully) be back at the Hands-On Museum next summer, and I especially can't wait to see you all again. Here's to Domino World 2021!

Everything about this was absolutely stunning! The artistry, ingenuity behind each trick, color combinations, and overall creativity is so good. What an amazing collaboration! Also omggg Brady literally moved an entire domino wall as part of the chain reaction :O So happy that it worked as well! The excitement is real! Great music choice as well - I think the chill vibe is very fitting for these types of videos.

WOW!!! This turned out soooo much better than I had envisioned it (even though my expectations were super high to begin with). Uggghhh where do I even begin??

I will leave individual comments regarding machine sections on the close-up videos, but I must say that seeing everyone build in their build spaces for some reason gave me so much nostalgia back to like 2015/2016 when collabs were much more common. With the virtual limitations, these sections absolutely knocked it out of the park with regards to tricks, concepts, and transitions. So many of the tricks completely caught me off guard and made me actually yell out loud.

As for the dominoes, GOOD GOD, SO BEAUTIFUL. Domino World has always been the best event for dominoes in my opinion, but the non-event setting really gave you all the ability to experiment and try things that are more on the risky side, and it definitely paid off. Every single setup was the perfect blend of beauty and creativity, with lots of machine-esque elements sprinkled throughout. My favorites had to be the tilting-sliding plank at 1:33 (the way the changing of weight was used was so elegant), the absurd tilting box at 2:28, the ENTIRETY of 4:51, and of course 2:37 because just look at it.

I would also like to mention that there is something about the ending of this video that hit me pretty deep. Something about the way the music was coming to an end and hearing all of you guys celebrate was so awesome to hear, and it reminded me much of the way I felt at Reactica 2018. Feeling that again was super special and made me tear up a little due to the current circumstances of events (and also due to me not being able to go to Reactica last year).

I've mentioned before that Domino World has always been an event that I have so badly wanted to participate in, but the timing has always been bad for me. Hopefully going to college will change that because I would absolutely love the opportunity to collaborate with all of you and finally meet j o l e y a n t h a. If the opportunity ever arises with museum funding and availability, let me know! Domino World is quickly becoming the next ISM!

I'd like to commend you all on your hard work with putting this video together. It's been an absolute pleasure getting to vibe with you all in the discord server and hearing about all of your ideas. Well done!!

I'm going to leave separate comments on all the machine but I'm so glad you guys were still able to do Domino World this year. With all the chaos happening it's nice you were able to still come together and make this fantastic video. All the machines were flawless and the dominoes were really incredible as well. This has been a definite highlight of the year so far and I'm glad that this was able to happen :)

That is not what we except to see for a domino world but that was so I N T E N S E ! Brady's final setup was mind blowing and there was NO FAIL ! At 6:07, after that I realized what happened I was like NO WAY !!!! Your one was very nice too (2:37). The machine clips were also so nice with the multi-use objects !
