"Masculine means man do things I like."

The look of horror on her face when she realized her husband won’t be masculine for much longer and then entire fetishized reason she’s with him is withering away

Biologically speaking, older men tend to be less physically capable than younger men

She seemed hurt when you brought up how old he is and how he will lose the ability to do hand-to-hand combat soon

She married him to replace the father who left her as a child.

Her whole schtick fell apart for me once I realized her husband was so much older. If you can’t get a “high value” young man and you’re pretending every 25 year old wants a 50 year old then you’re struggling with basic reality.

To her credit, she identified a man who likely has a long stable career, has had decades worth of adult experience, and can handle himself as an adult. But she portrays him as the quote "most masculine man she's ever met in her life"" and then goes on to talk about his martial arts and that he'll make decisions for her. Let's face it, she wants a daddy figure, but this time, a daddy who is responsible and predictable.

These woman who say he’s a protector know nothing about violence. First of all I’ve been married my entire adult life and he’s never once had to physically fight for me. And I would never want him to. Street fights are so friggin dangerous. My dad actually was the type to fight when he was younger and he taught me to stay away from all that. The best thing you can do is avoid altercations.

She now knows she has to start looking around for another guy in 10 years. You know, to do "masculine stuff." I just can't believe it's 2024.

He’s so masculine. I saw him karate chop a 2x4 and then he built a shelf from its remnants. He also can carry jugs of milk up the stairs. He is the epitome of masculinity.
Who thinks like this in 2023 ?

Ha ha ha, so she is 28 and he is 49yo... fuck that shit. She didn't want to work and he was established... period. He'll be in a retirement home soon. There is no way I could do that. I want someone my own age.

" he makes decisions for me and he's trained in hand to hand combat" that's really her answer

Her definition of masculinity - I get to leech off a man and live like a sugar baby

As some who's significant other is also 20 years my senior- aging out is a real thing you have to accept if you're going to be with someone who's 45+. When me and her are 50 our partners will be 70 and we will have to do 90% of the traditionally masculine things- that's reality. What are you going to leave your man or respect your man less because he got old?

He doesn't have to age out. Chris Kyle got his shit rocked at the peak of his life. Anyone can be touched at any time. By a far less masculine person.
