The one making a candle cover by punching holes in a can is an old one I use, but I use different size tin cans, like big tomato juice ones, fill them with water and freeze them. I use a screwdriver to punch out designs while they're frozen!(makes it real easy, just pop in the sink when you're done and let them melt) and also punch out 3 holes around the top where I hang 3 pieces of wire and suspend them in the elm trees with solar lights/tea lights inside, that run all along our drive way coming into the farm yard. It looks very cool, let me tell you! They almost look like lights from ships in a harbour when we are sitting on the deck in the evening! Just saying. Easy and cheap to look very cool!
