Opel Corsa D *Acceleration 0-100* *Top Speed* *Sound*

Testdrive Opel /Vauxhall Corsa D 1.4 Sport model year 2014 - Hello and welcome to the Car Acceleration TV Channel. In today's new video we run with the Corsa on the highway (german Autobahn). In a previous test it wasn`t possible to reach the maximum speed. But today we drive it! Now to the facts of the car - Opel Corsa D 1.4 EcoFlex with 87 hp at 6000 rpm. Thus, the small car is already sufficient power. The acceleration is specified by the manufacturer 0-100 km/h in 12,4s and top speed 173 km/h. If you like it sporty take the Opel Corsa OPC / VXR as the special Nürburgring Edition and its 1.6 Turbo with 210hp will inspire you.

I have done 120mph in my corsa c 1.4 downhill though, but still decent for a 90bhp car

Considering my general conversation below, im my overall point of view about corsa, Opel Corsa D 1.4 90 and 100 HP is an amazing german quality car, it has enough acceleration. amazing endurance and great nice stiff suspension. French cars suck, german NEVER suck.
VW is ok, like them yeah, the biggest problem is with BMW because each time I see them they are everywhere I go, and drivers in 99% are huge driving idiot and primitive problem because they ride like very pure drivers with zero culture approach to others.

i was doing 170 km/h with my corsa d 1.3 cdti 75 hp with 4 people in it with a/c on maybe the speedometer was a bit off but even though it is a great car even if the real speed was 150 ish

Shift are a bit too quick it can push much more without crying/hitting the redline and it still has a lot of couple, but it's a great car ! Might have one as a first one but i still wonder if i should buy a polo 4 80tdi.

Your rev-style is wrong. You must shift gears to only about max 5, 950rpm. 6, 500rpm cannot more acceleration, hear it revving if it rotation turn down slowly.

i own corsa d 2009 1.2 and it reaches 185mph

I have opel corsa 1.4 100hp and withought pushing the car .. the average consumption is 7.9-8.0 (mostly in town)
I think this is too much .. is it wrong?
anyone else with so much consumption?

Gott ist das Getriebe Kurz übersetzt. Grausam. Der Corsa D meiner Mutter ist Baujahr 2008 und hat den 60PS Motor drin. Der 5 Gang ist das ein bisschen kürzer, aber die sind fast gleich lang übersetzt, und das mit fast 30PS unterschied. Da geht viel mehr. Der Polo aus 2009 mit 90 PS ist viel länger übersetzt, das ist tausend mal besser. Der kann viel hörere Reisegeschwindigkeiten erreichen als der Corsa, der dreht im 5 Gang bei 170 gerade mal 4000. Anstatt 5300 wie beim Corsa. Bei dem 60PS Corsa kann ich es ja verstehen, aber bei einem fast 90 PS starken Corsa echt?

you should learn how to drive. you should change the gear before 6500. you lose time after 7000.

Poor engine being raged without warming it up first = by by valves and eventually blown piston rings due to lack of lubrication.
