This song is just about someone who's going through a hard time. I can really relate. I'm heavily weighing the possibility that I'm either bipolar or major depressive. The last three months have been rough for me. I'd started going though episodes where I thought nobody wanted to be around me and I cried alone in my room and I put on a brave face when I couldn`t be alone. I met a girl who I spent a lot of time with and thought she liked me as much as I liked her. So when I wasn`t depressed I was happy hanging out with her. Then I asked her on a date and she rejected me. We made plans to go do something just as friends. On the day that we were supposed to do what we'd planned, she said she forgot and that we'd have to reschedule. It turned out that day she was meeting a guy and she didn't forget our plans, she just tossed me to the sidelines. I texted her and never got a response and haven't heard from her since. That whole thing put me in another downward spiral. It`s been about 3 weeks since it happened and I'm healing. Point is, I strongly relate to this song because I've been in really dark places. The chorus really hits hard for me. This song always brings me to tears but makes me feel better. Thanks Broadside.
