To be fair some Mexican candies are more on the sweet-acid-spicy combination, but you should try more of the typical candies, like tortitas de santa clara or dulce de leche

The spicy lollipop is good because it starts sour and then ends up being sweet, kind of an acquired taste

It's really funny to us Mexicans seeing how people react to the candy and snacks we grow up on. It's all either sweet and spicy or made with tamarindo and it's so delicious and I love seeing how many people are either offput by it or become obsessed hahaha

If you take some hot water and dissolve all the coating off the watermelon lollipop it’s pretty good, I also sometimes leave a little and it’s a lot less overpowering and tastes more balanced that way. It’s kinda extra but it works🤣

Mexican candy is delicious, it’s definitely very different from American candy, but my dad always brought some home when he came home from visiting our customers in Mexico, a lot of it is very interesting 😊
