What is subjectivism?

Subjectivism is the philosophical theory that perception (or consciousness) is reality, and that there is no underlying, true reality that exists independently of it.

It does not claim, however, that "there is no such thing as reality" or that "everything is an illusion", but rather that the nature of reality is dependent on the consciousness of the individual.

In this video, we will discuss what subjectivism is and its two main types, namely metaphysical subjectivism and ethical (or moral) subjectivism.
