This car is a modern-day legend! Hard to believe this car with room in the back seat for 2 adults and a usable trunk has performance stats on par with a Lamborghini Countach LP400 but all with that Honda reliability and better fuel economy. That is supercar level performance at a working man's price. Well done Honda. Well done. IMHO the Type R is the Lamborghini of hot hatches.

i had the first edition 2017. The seats are good if your a 36 waist and 140 lbs...bigger guys need a diet. The front wheel drive is not so good it bumps and shakes off the line, they need an all wheel drive version. If you live in part of the world that snows then forget it... it sucks in the snow, even with winter tires it was rough. it is a nice car for warm weather and track use. I now have a 2020 Genesis G70 3.3 and am a happier dude.

I use to be a tech at Honda and I got to say that I drove my share off the fk8 type r got to say these cars are amazing for what they are Honda did a great job but I recommend if u buying this car to get rid off the 20s and go 18s for u can run a thicker tire.

watched this while driving in my type R. yes this one does sound louder. they listened to all complaints but don't know fake noise is frowned upon in the car community? then again the car community hates wings on production cars even if it adds downforce so i wouldn't listen to the fans for everything either.
