Zebra Finch in the wild a documentary

This is inspired from a trip out to the drylands of NSW and Queensland in June 2021 where there has been a massive explosion in the Zebra finch population after a decimating 6 years of drought.

I've had so many pet Zebra finches... its great to see the same mannerisms and variations in the wild. The passing down of the songs was particular interesting as each male has a distinct song I could recognize amongst mine.

I have many zebra finches. It started when I rescued 10 zebra finches 5 years ago, now I have around 60. They are beautiful and each and every one of them is so unique and have unique personality and charisma. They all are so communicative too.
I love them very much. ❤

I had these as pets over the years.

I always enjoyed their company, but hated keeping them in cages, so I stopped keeping them as pets.

Good video. Please show how do they make nests in the wild. I want to given them the same in my aviary.

I love how they live with budgies and firetails peacefully.

When will these birds be in any positions where they are cornered, or easier to catch?

Outstanding ❗ Wealth of info 💲 Kudos 👍 Compact format ⏳
Jolly Good presentation 💞 👍 More good videos on this channel. 👁
Highly recommend 👍 Winner 🏁 Birds Birds Birds 🐤 🐦 🐣
Commentary is spot-on 💬 Immeasurable detail of diet, behavior, habitat,
with sounds 🎼 breeding, so much info. I have never visited "Oz" but
this channel brought Australia to my living room, without having to swat mosquitoes.
👍 Thumbs up 🏁 winner 💯 top marks 📌 must see
Immeasurably grateful to find this channel. Truly enjoy the bird videos, the
time, patience, and skill of videotaping - editing, sound quality, in the natural
environment. I appreciate the info provided re habitat, breeding, food source,
migration, etc. I posit that the minute, almost indistinguishable
variance within a group (species ?) could, not necessarily be
indicative of a separate "species", but the naturally occurring
variability due to diet, molt, age, breeding mutation ( like stripes
on zebras - say ). I appreciate the observational skills you clearly
possess, however, unless one can follow a single bird throughout
a lifetime, and repeat that process with many individuals of that
species, it is doubtful that one will find there are so many "sub-species",
just naturally occurring variability due to cross-breeding & variety of plumage.
Keep up the videos, but maybe use one color for text instead of a rainbow,
which reeks of amateur, which you clearly are not. Thanks. I'm immeasurably
grateful that I found your channel. T H A N K S ❗👍 🏁 winner !

This changed my life entirely. When I was asleep I accidentally drove to my nearest pet store and requested for all of their zebra finches. They asked me why and I responded with the word " Lasagna ". They were confused but nevertheless they got me all of the finches, they didn't care to take them out of their cage since it would be too much work to put them in all of those cardboard boxes. I didn't pay and left the store, next day I wondered why there was so much beeping sounds. I checked to see and it was all of the finches I bought. I am now an owner of about 200 finches, send help.
