Kenshi EP1 - First Time Playing, I Loved It Before I Played It!

Welcome, this is my first time playing Kenshi. The game was recommended to me ONE time, I searched and watched ONE video on it and I was hooked! I couldn't get the game out of my mind for many months. As I eventually learned more and more about the game, I fell in love with it before I even played it. So now, it's time to ACUTALLY play it!

Kenshi is an open world, open ended sandbox game with no linear storyline. Described as a squad based RPG, featuring a pretty decent character creator, a dozen+ starting scenarios, and a gritty and harsh environment. Survive by learning the land, crafting, mining, building, farming, recruiting and training up to 30 people to help you overcome all the lurking dangers of the apocalyptic world. And oh yeah, it's permadeath.

I'm playing this again. 800 hours of playtime weren't enough. Downloaded a bunch of clothes mods and doing a no armor no weapons run. 22 very fancy dressers. After much bleeding and some missing limbs, they're finally reaching 30 martial arts and starting to hold their own against basic enemy patrols. This game rocks.

Hello, so satisfying watching a lost newbie somehow, you have hours of fun and frustration ahead. Welcome! In the shop you do not have to drag items, just right click on it. When travelling scan the area ahead with your camera without pausing as you can spot hostiles miles away especially when they are in motion...I've subscribed to follow your adventure....

I love this game so much for all the roleplay it allows. it's so immersive you forget the graphics SO fast and start to love the barren deserts.

Game is great, played it on my cousin's account, had a lot of fun... Great to see you jump into it!

Town guards are your best friends... When a wandering band of something comes to attack you, just run back into the town and the guards will kill them for you... Then just loot the bodies for items to sell... Also if recall correctly in that starting town you're in, one of the NPCs in the bar can be recruited for zero cost... And you'll want to gather iron/copper from the west side of that starting town (they are closer to the gate)..

The "grind" in this game is very real... Defense is hardest skill to level up since you have to take damage to level it up.. IE you let yourself get beat up (by things that use blunt weapons so you don't lose limbs)..

i watched kenshi grow since the days it was just the first desert map where only humans were playable, its impressive seeing where it is now

A great game. There's no guide you can get that is better then just jumping in.

There's a lot of mods out there, as well to give you more content.

Jumping in is where it's at. going in and exploring, finding things, and developing YOUR story is what the game is all about.
