Hi Erin! I just want to say that I really appreciate what you have taught me about homeschooling. This is our second year, and so much of the beauty that we've incorporated into our homeschool stems from ideas I gleaned from you (Books of Centuries, Europe/USA placemat with Wet markers for Geogaphy, general eclectic attitude toward curricula). I really appreciate your gentle ideas without the pushiness of gearing your audience toward only ONE curriculum. Please keep sharing your Homeschool journey and creative (yet simple!) ideas!

I feel that same strong need to spiritually build up my children as well, and with a busy life, I’ve had to make changes and move around priorities too. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s very encouraging and just gives me more push to do this too. This Kingdom work is so important in our home to teach and disciple our children, so that they may grow up Spiritually grounded and ready for their path in life. I also see it as so important to teach those life and homesteading skills that go hand in hand with growth in God. What a great harvest! May God bless you!

Your channel is an incredible support, encouragement, and help. I remember crying so hard watching one of your video for the very first time. Those were the tears of relief. I finally had a clear feeling and belief in my heart that I could do it. That video encouraged me, inspired me, comforted me, and helped me so much. I love everything you had to say. Thanks so much for sharing your heart. Yes, Jesus is the answer always! This is my 25th year homeschooling and I just watched my oldest child turn 30! I have homeschooled my 2 oldest children all the way (K-12) and understand the value of having them home and close. I love the close relationship I have with my two adult children! The children I still have at home right now are adopted. Homeschooling them is a totally different experience but would never choose anything different. Just hoping I survive! We garden and have chickens. Each year I try to do more with the garden. (We live in the Rocky Mountains so gardening can be a challenge!) We also hunt and process that meat ourselves. I really appreciate your channel and would watch anything you put out. Thanks again!

We homestead along with homeschooling so we do schooling year round to flow with the seasons. During the spring planting and fall harvesting we stick primarily with the three core subjects as our continued studies. Life learning as I call all the many things our children learn beyond the books is just as important. There’s so much being learned from living the life we live.

I completely agree with you too! Building that foundation in the Lord is the most important thing I can do for them. I have found myself shifting from homeschooling videos to discipleship, habit training, life skills, and godly motherhood videos. Homeschooling is more about cultivating the heart and developing valuable skills than book work. I’m looking forward to see where God leads this channel ❤
