As someone who studied Mao under Maoists at UCLA (unwillingly; they had infested my major), I've been listening enthusiastically as James has found his way toward a clearer understanding of the Maoist influence on our current situation. I knew his eventual report on the matter would be great; it exceeded expectations and I really hope he continues with it.

Intersectionality fundamentally turns people inside out. It used to be the case you were expected to externalize a sense of uniformity and community while being internally independent and individual. You were suppose to look and behave like everybody else but were given license to think differently. Intersectionality fractionates and individualizes external idenity while demanding strict obedience and uniformity of its adherents internal identity. You can look and behave as differently as you want, but your thoughts belong to the group.

It's as though they are giving you the right to behave differently in order to buy your right to think differently. Once they have your right to think differently they get to tell you how to think about all behaviors.

Brilliant work here, James. Thank you. I have found it to be very difficult to explicate my utter rejection of this radical ideology, particularly to friends and family who share my love and admiration for the work of MLK, and his "dream". When I tell them that MLK himself, reincarnated today, would be silenced and cancelled or worse by these ideologues, they just don't get what I am communicating to them. This video is something I can share with them. It fills in the gaps that normies have no context for, because they were fooled into thinking that the cold war was won when the USSR collapsed. Applied Marxism is a chimera.

What an amazing video, you should crop and reupload the last part where you address the readicalized youth for better sharing and virality. I feel it would be of a lot of value as it could be something you we could send to people and it doesn’t require them to sit through the beginning of the video, which is great content but a bit of a high investment for those who might not be as committed or deep into the topic as most of us in this comment section are
