You Your are comparing 1980 Nominal GDP to 2023 PPP GDP.
It massivly exaggerates the growth.
Eg. Brazil has gone from 2.4k to 8.9k in Nominal terms but your incorrect graphic makes you believe its gone from 2.4k to 20k.

I do really like Meli stock, my buy price is around $1500, it keeps never dipping that low lol. But if we do see a major down turn I may get lucky. Very good growth stock with a lot of future growth potential.

Mercado Libre doesn't have AWS which is the most profitable segment of Amazon, so calling MELI the Amazon of South America is quiet misleading

I have been a share holder for last 2 years and up 50% and don't think you're late to the party.I even added this week. If the FX goes down and they keep ramping up the commerce and finance parts, its a real winner. Thats without even getting onto the advertising platform!

Just for heads up after the last quarterly report not this one but the one before this one MELI shot up 15% then came down about half of that and settled there before shooting up 16% after this quarterly report. Somebody thinking about buying it may want to wait a week or or two first. You never know but that is what it did last time.

MELI and BN are the only two stocks on green on my portfolio at the moment. I has been a bloodbath, but that also means that I can buy the bigger losers, instead of MELI when that was my biggest loser.

Meli crece porque se supo adaptar a la informalidad (gente fuera del sistema bancario) alta que hay en latinoamerica. El potencial mayor esta en mercado pago, en este mes se habilito en Argentina que planes sociales como jubilaciones se pueden cobrar, si la persona lo desea, por mercado pago es otra gran fuente futura de fondos si un % de la población lo reemplaza por un banco tradicional.

I can agree with the growth estimations though
