tourniquet should be released first. Then cotton swab, then pull out and that too, gently.

You should not be putting pressure while pulling the needle. Torniquet must be removed first before the needle and don't re-use the cotton specially when you used it to sanitize the area. It is ok not to use gloves when extracting small amount of blood just make sure that your hands are clean and well sanitized. ❤ Keep safe everyone!!

1.It's median cubital vein(inside cubital fosa), cephalic vein present medially
2. Gloves should be worn by medical professional while doing this manipulation
3.Use three moist cotton swab(with antiseptic), first to clean large area, 2nd to clean site of injection, 3rd for covering the injection site after manipulation.
4.Release the turniquet after the air test
5.Do the process slowly otherwise there are chances of patient going into shock /syncope
